ENGLISH PAPER PIECING

Another quilt in the making.  I love this type of hand work.  The directions call for over 3500 hand made hexagons.  Sounds like a lot and I have been working for a year and have about 600 hexagons completed so I have a ways to go.  Ha !!

I am making a Grandmother's Garden quilt.  I got my supplies from paperpieces.com and my pattern. there are so many pre-cut shapes and ideas.  Some of Jen Kingwell's pattern have a mixture of English Paper Piecing. Appliqué and tradional hand piecing in them.  I would love to try one of those also.  I have Sweet Tea and Green Beans pattern by her and also a book of patterns Quilt Lovely.  Great for the many leftover scraps.

Here is a picture of my current progress.  I believe I have a ways to go.  ☺☺
